Frequently Asked Questions

Q:Why Is the first session FREE?

We know that trying something new can feel a little daunting, especially if you've never experienced guided relaxation before.

That's why your first Calm & Relax session is completely free. It gives you the opportunity to experience the session, meet me, and decide if it's the right fit for you—without any financial commitment.

Many women tell me they weren't sure what to expect, but after attending they felt calmer, lighter, and grateful they'd given themselves an hour to simply slow down.

If you enjoy the experience, you're welcome to come back. If it's not for you, that's perfectly okay too.

It's simply my way of removing the barrier to trying something new and giving yourself the gift of self-care. 🌿

Q: Will I feel relaxed after one session?

Many women leave feeling calmer after their very first session, while others notice the benefits building over two or three sessions.

Like any new skill, learning to relax takes practice. If you've spent years rushing, worrying or carrying stress, it can take a little time for your mind and body to adjust.

I encourage you to attend a few sessions before deciding whether it's right for you.

Q: Do I need meditation experience?
No, these sessions are not your typical mediation sessions, they are fully guided will include breath work, guided relaxation techniques and are absaloutely suitable for beginners.

Q: What If I Can't Switch Off My Mind?

That's completely normal—and one of the most common concerns people have before attending.

Relaxation isn't about having a completely blank mind. It's about giving your mind and body permission to slow down. If your thoughts wander, simply notice them and gently return your attention to my voice. There is no right or wrong way to experience the session.

Many women find that the more they attend, the easier it becomes to relax.

Q: Do I need to book? You can book your spot on line and pay at the session or you can just turn up. This may change if numbers get bigger to ensure a great experience for all. Booking online assures you of your spot and if any change to class happens you will be notified.

Q: Is this Hypnosis?
These sessions include gentle guided techniques that are used in hypnotherapy to help relax a client but the sessions are not hypnosis. The sessions are designed to help you to deeply relax, reset your nervous system and your mind.

Q: What should I bring?
Yourself and a yoga mat (you may wish to bring a blanket or cushion) Comfortable clothing is recommended

Q: How many sessions should I attend?

Many women will want to attend weekly, whilst others may use it as a stepping stone into the smaller group sessions ( or one on one Hypnotherapy)
